NOSCAR™ Research Grants Announced!
NOSCAR announces Olympus Medical’s continuing commitment to funding NOTES™ research. Olympus Medical has pledged $500,000 to the existing Olympus Medical Systems Research Fund which supports innovative NOTES™ research projects.
NOSCAR™ is also pleased to announce the establishment of the Karl Storz Research Fund based on a pledge of $250,000 from Karl Storz Endoscopy. This investment will support further fundamental research in NOTES™, an approach that could ultimately represent a major paradigm shift in minimally invasive therapy.
These generous donations from Olympus Medical Systems Corp. and Karl Storz Endoscopy will provide funding to underwrite ground-breaking research exploring new technology. Grant requests will be considered by the NOSCAR Research Subcommittee and will be awarded this year. Proposals are due on April 25, 2008 and must be submitted electronically.
